Kinsale

I forgot taking a picture of the beautiful food I had there! What a shame! I know photograph is the only proof of everything. Well, actually not. I can describe it very well to you!!
After a long walk to Charles Fort, I wanted to go a nice restaurant for a nice meal. We decided to go Jim Edwards. There were a lot of signs out of each restaurant says Good Food 2009 or Picked by Food Critics- kind of honor signs everywhere in Kinsale. It is a heritage town indeed, even for food.
When you travel, you always have a big question 'what do I eat in this town?' Oh, well, since Kinsale is such a typical fishery town, why don't you try some fish?
I know I try to be a vegetarian, yet I eat fish when I have to or need to eat fish in a nice heritage town like Kinsale. So, I tried haddock. It was fantastic. The sauce they described as Hollandaise was very delicious as well. There were also a lot of side dishes they offered with the main dish. Potatoes, chips, steamed vegetables. It was just fabulous!
I realized the appetizer we had was very similar the Korean food called, jeon. It's more like fish cake or beef cake, but this was made out of crab.
And our finale, chocolate mousse was very rich and nice with creme as well.
What else do you want to do in Kinsale? Charles Fort, Walking Tour, Beautiful Food,......
If you play golf, you can go a little bit further to Head of Kinsale to play golf with beautiful seascape as well!
